This is basically the same as make 1 knitwise except that you are working into both the back and front of the loop to create 2 new stitches.
2 Now insert the right needle into the front of the loop and knit the stitch. You have now made 2 new stitches. Slip the loop off the left needle.
TIP: HOLDING STITCHES
Some projects require stitches to be left on a holder to be worked at a later stage in the pattern. Simply insert the pin of the holder from right to left through each stitch, taking care not to twist them. When you need to work on these stitches, slip them from the holder onto a knitting needle, again taking care not to twist them.
1 Repeat steps 1 and 2 of make 1 knitwise but do not slip the lifted loop off the left needle at the end.
