Long scarf

Make live in cm diameter pompoms as foils: using a little of each of the other 2 colours in each pompom, nuke 2 using yam A. I using yarn II and 2 using yarn C. Using 12 strands of yarn A, nuke one 3« cm long plait and t\sx> l8-22cm long plaits, knotting ends of these shorter plaits and leaving tassels of about III cm. Make plaits in same way using yarn U. then using yarn C. Join ends of one set of shorter plaits to one pompom in yarn A. then join pompom in yarn 11 to this pompom. Join pompom in yarn (' to pompom in yarn II. then attach one end of set of 38 cm plaits to other side of this pompom. Join second pompom hi yam A to other ends ot these plaits, then join rem pompom in yarn C to this pom pom. Attach ends of rein 3 plaits to this last pompom. I bread approx (> buttons onto each tassel of end plaits.

Short scarf

Make five I" cm diameter pompoms as lolls using a little of each of the other 2 colours m each pompom, make 2 using yarn A. 2 using yarn IJ. and I using yarn C. Make two 8 cm diameter pompoms using yarn C and a little of each of yarns A and II. Make four 6 i m diameter pompoms as foils: using a little of each of the other 2 colours m each pompom, nuke 2 using yarn A and 2 using yarn It. join pompoms to form one strip as lolls: one 6 cm pompom in yarn 11 to one 6 cm pompom in yarn A. then one 8cm pompom, one 10 cm pompom in yarn B. one in cm pompom in yarn A. 10 cm pout pom in yarn C. other 111 cm pompom ui yarn A. other 10 cm pompom in yarn B. other 8 cm pompom, other 6 cm pompom in yarn A and last (> cm pompom in yarn B Now join ends of strip to form a loop. Using photograph as a guide, uc ribbon between pompoms to adjust length as required.
