FINISHING

Block slipper tops liglith to even out the ms. Sew slipper tops to exterior hands, positioning seam .it the center back heel. Temporarily place the assembled pieces on the slipper sole, making sure that the slipper top i> correct!) positioned on the sole, and» mark the center of the exterior seed st band on each side of leather sole. Remove assembled pieces from leather sol«'. Cut elastic slightly 'homer than the width of slipper instep. Clue elastic to marked positions at each side of leather sole, using fabric glue. Stretch and glue interior hand to inside of sole opening, positioning seam at center back heel. Stretch and glue exterior hand to outside of opening. Sew exterior and interior bands together along top edge, leaving a space for the elastic to emerge. Using MC and yarn needle, sew lower edge of exterior hand to sole through holes provided, sewing twice around in an Y pattern as given in sole instruction«..
