Plaited Diagonal Stripe

Each right-side row decreases one stitch in each pattern repeal, and each wrong-side row restores it by a yo. Since the fabric is quite dense laterally, it is a good idea to bind off on the wrong side without restoring the subtracted stitches; this will prevent the bind-off row from showing an unattractive "spread".
