Charts and diagrams
Charts and diagrams have a number of advantages over row-by-row instructions:
- you can see at a glance what is to be done;
- you learn to think and judge;
- at the end of the day, your understanding is increased, and you feel more encouraged to continue knitting.
Classy clickers... know that whole garment pieces can be shown in chart form, often combined with colour or stitch pattern charts. The charts clearly show all the shapings and exact position of pockets, buttonholes, etc.
