Rnd 1: With needle holding 6 heel sts (needle 1), pick up and knit 12 sts along right side of heel flap; with needle 2, pi, work Rnd 1 of leg patt over next 20 sts; with needle 3, pick up and knit 12 sts along left side of heel flap, then knit the first 3 sts from needle 1 again—51 sts total; 15 sts each on needles 1 and 3, 21 instep sts on needle 2.
