Loosely (so top edge will scallop) CO 64 sts onto 1 needle. Arrange sts as evenly as possible on 3 needles. Join for working in the rncl, being careful not to twist sts, and place marker (pm) after first si to denote beg of rnd.
Cuff: Work as foil:
Rnd 1: *K2, si 1, k2iog, psso, k2, yo, kl, yo; rep from *.
Rnd 2: Knit, slipping the last si of the rnd from the end of the third needle to the beg of the first needle, and counting it as the first si of the foil rnd (do not knit it again) to keep the yarnovers aligned vertically, and counting it as the first of the 2 knit sts in the next rep.
Rep these 2 rnds 7 times total—piece should measure about 1" (2.5 cm) from beg. Leg: Redistribute sis as evenly as possible on 3 needles again, and knit 2 rnds. Coni in fancy patt as loll:
Rnd 1: *P1, k3, pi, kl, yo, k2tog; rep from *. Rnds 2 and 4: *P1,1<3; rep from *. Rnd 3: *P1,1<3, pi, yo, k2log, kl; rep from *. Rnd 5, 6, 7, and 8: Rep Rnds 1-4. Rnd 9: *P1, yo, si 1, k2tog, psso, yo, pi, kl, yo, l<2tog; rep from *. Rnd 10: *Pl,k3; rep from*. Rnd 11: *P1,1<3, pi, yo, k2tog, kl; rep from *. Rnd 12: * PI, k3; rep from *. Rep Rnds 1-12 five more times—6 patt reps total; piece should measure about 7V" (19 cm) from beg.
