Rnd 1: With needle 1, kl9 heel sts, then pick up and knit 14 sts along right side of heel flap; with needle 2, work Rnd 1 of Foot chart (page 91) across 32 instep sts; with needle 3, pick up and knit 14 sts along left side of heel flap, ihen knit the first 10 sts from needle 1 again—79 sts total; 23 sts on needle 1, 32 instep sts on needle 2, 24 sts on needle 3. Rnd begins at back of heel. Rnd 2: On needle 1, knit; on needle 2, work instep sts in established patt; on needle 3, knit.
Rnd 3: On needle 1, knit to last 3 sts, k2tog, kl; on needle 2, work instep sts in established patt; on needle 3, kl, si 1, kl, psso, knit to end—2 sts dec'd. Rep Rnds 2 and 3 eight more times—61 sts rem; 14 heel sts on needle 1, 32 instep sts on needle 2, 15 heel sts on needle 3.
