Rnd 3: On needle 1, kl, si 1, kl, psso, knit to end; on needle 2, knit to last 3 sts, k2tog, kl; on needle 3, kl, si 1, kl, psso, knit to last 3 sts, k2 tog, kl—4 sis dec'd. Rep Rnds 2 and 3 nine more times—24 sis rem; 6 sts each on needles 1 and 2,12 instep sis on needle 3. SI sts from needle 2 onto end of needle 1—12 sts each on 2 needles. Cut yarn, leaving a 15" (38-cm) tail. Thread tail on a tapestry needle and use the Kitchener st (Glossary, page 117) to graft sts log. Weave in loose ends. Block on sock blockers or under a clamp towel.
