1 Wash the socks, either by hand with wool wash or in the washing machine if the yarn allows (check the label). Squeeze or spin out the excess water from the socks without wringing. Roll the socks in a drag towel to remove extra moisture. You can also wet block by spraying the item with water rather than submerging it.
2 Lay the socks flat on a toweled surface and smooth with your hands until the sock is the correct size and shape. Leave to air dry.
Note: You can dry the socks over wooden or metal "sock blockers," which are forms shaped like socks!
