Right Middle Finger

1 Taking from the sts held on the loose yarn for the back of the hand, place onto a dpn the number of sts indicated for your size and gauge in the second column of Table 13.

2 Place onto a 2nd dpn the number of sts held on the loose yarn for the palm indicated for your size and gauge in the third column of Table 13.

3 Keep rem sts indicated in fourth column of Table 13 on holder or strand of loose yarn.

4 Beg with the palm side sts, rejoin working yarn and k across.

5 Pick up and k from the base of the ring finger the number of sts indicated for your size and gauge in the fifth column of Table 13.

6 Use a third needle to k across the back-of-hand sts, then use simple cast-on (page 244) to CO the number of sts indicated for your size and gauge in the sixth column of Table 13 to close gap between palm and back of hand.

7 You should have on the needles for the middle finger the number of sts indicated for your size and gauge in the seventh column of Table 13. Divide these sts as evenly as possible onto 3 dpns. Join these sts into a rnd for the middle finger.

8 Knit until the finger measures approx 134-2 (2-214,214-272, 2T--3, 3-3T-) inches from beg.

Note: If you have an odd number of sts, work as specified to last 3 sts, k3tog. 0 If you are knitting the largest size at 6 sts per inch or any of the four largest sizes at 7 sts per inch, rep last rnd. !
