A Safer Way to Unravel

To avoid dropping stitches as you unravel, you can weave a needle that is smaller in diameter than the working needles in and out of the stitches in the row, below the point to which you would like to unravel. Be sure that the needle goes under the right side of each stitch and over the left side of each stitch. When the entire row is on the needle, pull the working yarn to unravel the rows above the needle. You can then resume knitting with the working needles.
